Mississippi State and Ole Miss have had a rough go of it lately, but there is good reason for both teams to have hope for better days.
MSU has lost two consecutive games in blowout fashion, but Logan believes a strong finish and a decent bowl game are quite possible due to the remaining schedule (2:22). That schedule includes a couple of weaker non-SEC foes, like BYU, which visits Starkville this Saturday (11:03).
A couple of things State must do better this week is passing the ball and cutting down on false starts (23:14).
As for Ole Miss, Parrish said the next three games are all winnable (8:03), including this week’s game versus Vanderbilt. Like the Rebels, the Commodores don’t run the ball well, but its pass defense will provide a big test for Shea Patterson and his receivers (16:18).
Also today, the guys look at the SEC’s middle-of-the-pack teams, including MSU, Florida, Kentucky and Texas A&M (5:53).
