Coaching moves continue to happen for Ole Miss and MSU.
On this episode, Parrish looks at the Rebels’ hire of Mike MacIntyre as defensive coordinator and ponders who might fill the open offensive coordinator position (7:35). He says one coach to keep an eye on is Will Hall, an Amory native.
MSU saw Mark Hudspeth leave to take the head coaching job at Austin Peay, but Tony Hughes returned to the staff after being fired as Jackson State head coach (18:40). Logan said Hughes was in great demand after losing his job because of his ability to recruit.
On the basketball court, MSU’s women won a thriller over Marquette (2:55), while the men beat Clemson thanks to a bunch of made 3-pointers (5:00).
The Ole Miss men continue to play well (22:39). The Rebels are coming off a win over Southeastern Louisiana and face Chattanooga next. After that, first-year coach Kermit Davis faces his old team, Middle Tennessee State, next Friday.
