There hasn’t been a lot to see so far when it comes to spring football, but Parrish Alford and Logan Lowery have some thoughts on what’s transpired in the early going. Parrish takes a look at the Rebels’ running back situation, in particular redshirt freshman Eric Swinney (7:28), while Logan discusses a new-look defense and the Bulldogs’ depth at tailback (15:04). On the diamond, both teams have big SEC series this weekend, with Ole Miss hosting South Carolina (19:20) and MSU entertaining Georgia (23:04). Also, MSU basketball freshman Malik Newman has declared for the NBA Draft (3:19).
